Situation: Solid Edge Search Properties such as sedocnum, serev, etc. have stopped working

Solution:

1.Manually register SEPropertyHandler.dll – found under Solid Edge program files

– Right click and run command prompt as administrator

Situation: Solid Edge Search Properties such as sedocnum, serev, etc. have stopped working

Solution:

1.Manually register SEPropertyHandler.dll – found under Solid Edge program files

– Right click and run command prompt as administrator
– Type the following commands to change the directory and then register the properties:

C:WINDOWSsystem32>cd C:Program FilesSolid Edge ST9Program

C:Program FilesSolid Edge ST9Program>regsvr32 SEPropertyHandler.dll

2. Stop the Windows Explorer program from Task Manager (Right Click – End Task)

– This will close the bottom task bar on your computer

3. Restart your machine – using Ctrl-alt-delete

4. Verify that search properties are now functioning again

– Type the following commands to change the directory and then register the properties:

C:WINDOWSsystem32>cd C:Program FilesSolid Edge ST9Program

C:Program FilesSolid Edge ST9Program>regsvr32 SEPropertyHandler.dll

2. Stop the Windows Explorer program from Task Manager (Right Click – End Task)

4. Verify that search properties are now functioning again
