Solid Edge 2024 has improvements that allow users to view and work with even the largest projects instantaneously, without any lag, stuttering, or buffering. Users can run even the most demanding assemblies at lightning rates because to the automatically optimized design view manipulation, which eliminates the need to change settings to hide assemblies, parts, or features.

All parts and assemblies perform better, with larger assemblies demonstrating a greater influence. Dynamic viewing can speed up large assemblies by up to 9 times and single parts by up to 3 times. The enhanced model view capabilities made possible by the new display architecture enhance the user experience by enabling more fluid model presentation.

Without having to wait for assemblies and designs to pan, zoom, rotate, etc., productivity is boosted. greatly raises the standard of living for design engineers who work with assemblies of all sizes. The design process moves more quickly and with less annoyance when time is saved not waiting for the program to react.

With Solid Edge 2024’s new Immersive View Styles, visualize designs against a real-world background that moves and pans with your model to produce a more engaging user experience. Graphic effects like lighting, shadows, and reflections are adjusted when a design is altered. As a result, the environment of the model is represented more accurately and lifelikely.

Backgrounds were static in the past and did not change when the view was adjusted. The previous “single image” background choice has been replaced in the Modify View Styles dialogue with the new “Immersive Environment” option. accessible in two box types: reflection and panoramic image.
